From her roots in a close-knit Finnish-American community to a dynamic career in real estate, fishing, and art, Lisa has always followed her curiosity and embraced life’s transitions. Today, as a dream doula, she combines evocative coaching, dreamwork, and creative practices to help women break free from stagnation, rediscover their joy, and manifest lives full of purpose and possibility.
Q: What does success mean to you, and how has this definition evolved over time?
D Lisa: I used to feel successful if hit a particular income amount, bought my dream car, remodeled my home, took that vacation to Europe. Now I desire freedom in all of my affairs. I now delight in the success of my clients, and while working mostly online I have the freedom to go play with art and creativity in my art studio, to spend time with friends and rest in the knowing I am truly living my life purpose.
Q: Who is your ideal client, and how do you help them achieve their goals?
D Lisa: My clients are women over 40 who feel stuck, frustrated and keep doing the same things without getting the results they want they often feel that it’s too late for them. The perfect collaboration is with a woman who’s in the healing arts and spiritual community. Healers, readers, herbalists, and such. Id love to be a teacher/speaker at a retreat ( don’t want to do all the planning, just want to show up and shine).
Q. What is the inspiration behind your business journey?
D Lisa: After years in the real estate industry as a realtor and a broker and a manager of an office, I’ve coached 100’s of people to make the right decisions. People tell me things…they always have! So now I inspire women to live their best lives.

Q: Tell us about your personal journey and how it has shaped who you are today.
D Lisa: I remember a dream from childhood where I was arguing with “rub-a-dub-dub, three men in a tub” I grew up in the south end of Seattle. My father was an immigrant from Finland. We proudly accepted the culture of saunas and close knit families. Ours lived in a family compound with three homes, a sauna, and some outbuildings. We even had a regulation two lane bowling alley in the backyard. The three homes sat on a scruffy piece of land that the relatives back in Finland called “Joe’s little farm”. As a young woman, I worked on fishing boats off the coast of Washington and Alaska: as a skipper, and a cook and a deckhand Then I got married. Husband and I raised the kids, worked a lot, fought a lot. I sold residential real estate for many years. I went to art school when I was 50. I love weaving art creativity and dream recall into my work. All of my life people have told me things. I now call myself a dream doula, (a spiritual life coach). I finally wake up and feel free and happy. I have the privilege to teach and mentor some amazing, powerful women. Life is good.
Q: What makes your approach or business unique?
D Lisa: I’m very intuitive and often ask things that surprise the client, and it’s the perfect thing they need right then. My approach is evocative coaching. Being inquisitive, and thoughtful, I know that we always know the answer we are seeking. We study our dreams, and use creativity exercises in the work.
